It all started in 2017, after Mick finished his PhD in Chemistry, Mick and Lianne shared an urge to combine their working lives in a project for which they could both be proud. A DIY soap making experience generated some Christmas gifts, a few farmer’s markets later and chance interactions with retail owners set Base Soaps on a path of no return and into a premium soap and skincare business.
